A TAKE on CLINTON/OBAMA EXPERIENCE DEBATE

Nicholas D. Kristof wrote an article for the NYTimes about what a candidate’s experience means for the presidency. Since Clinton is using Obama’s lack of experience against him, this is certainly relevant. What Kristof points out is that going back through the presidents, some of our greatest ones (Lincoln, Wilson, Teddy Roosevelt) have had the least amount of experience in the White House or Congress. While it is just the opposite for those who have been members of Congress the longest (Nixon, Johnson, Ford).
